Mark Carlson
Chairperson
Mark Carlson was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. He attended Whitefish High School and graduated in 1982.
Mark served in the Army for 4 years before coming home to work at Equity Supply in the creamery. He then helped his parents start Carlson Sand and Gravel, where he worked alongside them for over 20 years. The Carlson sold the family business to Schellinger Construction, who still employ Mark.
Mark and his wife, Debbie, have two children. Mark, Debbie, and their children all live and work in the Flathead Valley.

Executive Director
DC Haas
Haas brings over 30 years of fire service experience including roles as a firefighter for the Missoula Rural Fire District, Statewide Fire Prevention Specialist with the Montana DNRC, Fire Program Manager for the Montana DNRC, Assistant Fire Chief at the Kalispell Fire Department, and Fire Chief at the Smith Valley Fire Department.

With a distinguished background in emergency services and a proven track record of leadership, Haas is dedicated to working collaboratively with WFSA residents, home-owner associations, the City of Whitefish, adjoining fire departments, and the community to enhance the service within the Whitefish Fire Service Area.
